Coach Bios
Stephanie Lage
Coach, Girls 9th Grade
Stephanie Lage was born and raised an Epic Club Volleyball player. She excelled at Epic for seven years as a libero. While playing at Epic she also starred on the Mt. Carmel varsity volleyball team. During her tenure she finished 3rd in CIF and led the team as captain in her senior year.
Stephanie chose to continue her volleyball career on the UC Davis Club Volleyball team. Stephanie had many diverse leadership roles, acting as captain for three years and president her senior year. During her 4th year the team placed 5th nationally and Stephanie was selected for Honorable Mention Division I All-American Libero. Stephanie finished UC Davis with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and now works down the street at General Atomics.
Stephanie is so happy to back at Epic and to get to join the coaches who taught her to love the game of volleyball. She is eager to bring her high energy coaching style to Epic. She has been back coaching at Epic for the last two years coaching both the girls local and the boys travel program. She can't wait to keep growing as a coach and is excited to pass on her love of the game!
