Sarah Worley
Coach, Girls 17-Sarah

This will be Sarah's first year with Epic, bringing a wealth of experience to our staff. She comes to us after playing for 14 years and coaching for over 8 years at several different clubs and schools across the country. Beginning at Capistrano Valley High School, under the direction of Darren Utterback, she led her team on the court as Varsity captain for 2 years while setting several records for blocks and kills. During her time at Capistrano Valley, she achieved several honors such as MVP, Best All-Around Tournament Player, and even Most Improved. After graduating she decided to pursue her degree at Pepperdine University, but quickly realized that life wasn't the same without volleyball. After her freshman year, she returned home to Saddleback Community College, under Coach Carmen Stratton, where she was quickly signed to the Argos of University of Great Falls, Montana. During her time there, she coached at Our Lady of Lourdes helping the 7th and 8th grade girls reach a long awaited championship. She graduated in Montana, with the help of her Coach, Arunas Duda, with a degree in Sport Psychology; and afterwards moved back home to Southern California. Since then she has coached club volleyball along with playing beach volleyball locally. Sarah currently plays for a competitive Vavi league which won the championship in October, as well as participating in local beach tournaments for OMBAC and CBVA. She brings an energetic personality and a passion for coaching to our club this year. This will be Sarah's first year with Epic, bringing a wealth of experience to our staff.
