Lauryn Andrew returns to EPIC for the 2017/18 season and will travel with 12-2 and 18-2. When she isn't coaching, you can find her chasing her busy toddler, Nolan.

The 2016/17 season with 18-2 was challenging due to several injuries, but despite setbacks, several players made their high school varsity rosters, and three players have gone on to play collegiate volleyball. Much success came with coaching the 12 local team, as there are now two, 12 travel teams at EPIC for the 2017/18 season!

A Los Angeles native, Lauryn began coaching for Mavericks Volleyball Club in Corona, Ca in 2009, and has had the privilege to coach and give private instruction to many scholarship athletes during this time. She finished her Mavericks career with two teams (16s and 18s) taking 3rd at Soiree, and two top 10 finishes (18s) at the GJNC.

She also coached junior varsity and varsity girls high school volleyball where she helped lead Centennial High School (Corona) to one its first CIF appearances.

Lauryn earned her MA in English from California State university, Northridge, and her BA in English from the University of La Verne. She teaches college English and works on special projects for the San Diego Community College District.
